Tired eyes

Tired eyes in shadows cast,

Chasing dreams that seem to last.

Through the night, they search in vain,

Yearning for sweet slumber’s reign.

Stars above, a silent guide,

As restless thoughts within them hide.

Moon’s soft glow, a soothing balm,

Yet sleep’s embrace remains a calm.

Whispers of night weave their tale,

Tangled in a sleepless gale.

Through the hours, they journey deep,

In the realm where thoughts do creep.

Oh, “tired eyes” that long for rest,

Seeking solace in dreams’ gentle nest.

May the dawn bring tranquil skies,

And grant you sleep with closed “tired eyes.”
